Some of you may notice (or not) that all of the images have been removed from my gallery. There is a very good reason for this.

As I have stated numerous times in the past, although I enjoy dabbling in other art forms (which I really have no talent in), I am above all else a writer. Writing is the medium to which I pour the most effort into, writing is the medium I most enjoy, writing is the only medium I have any real artistic talent in. Because of that, my writing is what I want people to pay the most attention to.

Sadly, this has not been the case.

First my desk top screen shots were getting the most attention on here. That is sad because I had no part in creating those desktop images whatsoever. I only took a screen shot for profile purposes. When it became obvious to me that people were not going to stop giving favorites and comments to those screen shots I immediately removed them, hoping that people would start paying attention to my own work.

People did start paying more attention to my own work. Unfortunately, it was the work that they could put the least thought into before commenting or giving a favorite to it.

I am aware now that so long as there are any images in my gallery, my writing will go largely ignored by most of the people who browse my gallery.

I am a writer. I do not want people coming to my gallery and spending all of five seconds looking at an image that I actually care very little about, and completely ignoring the work that I pour my heart and soul into. If deleting all of the images from my gallery only serves to draw less attention to it, then so be it. I would rather my work only get the attention of a small number of people who are willing to put thought and a minute or two of their time into viewing it than 1,000,000 people view each image I have created.

My writing is number one. I will not have half-assed photo-manipulations distract and detract from it.
